Healing Gardens of Northwest Arkansas is a state of the art garden space campus located alongside the Razorback Greenway Trail and designed to enhance the quality of life for Northwest Arkansas and beyond. This space will provide opportunities to connect to nature through health/wellness, education, arts integration, and community building.
Healing Gardens was created with a vision from the physicians, staff, and former patients and families who received cancer-care treatment at Highlands Oncology Group. The physicians at Highlands gifted 2.2 acres with a 100 year land lease (with a 50 year extension opportunity) at $1/year. The space is located directly behind their offices in Rogers and alongside the Razorback Greenway for the development of a green space gardens designed with excellence as a contemplative place for the community. The land lease was made in 2012, and the organization formed into a 501c3 charitable organization. Our goal was to assemble a team of highly qualified world-class designers who can design excellent spaces within a restrictive budget.
The gardens will be open to public access, and feature trail ways connected to the Razorback Greenway trail system, a waterfall, labyrinth, Sanctuary/pavilion, 2.2 acres of gardens, a stone-stacking area, secret garden, reflecting pool, sculptures, and much more.
